Nel Parco di S.Rossore

Se ancora siete indecisi e avete paura di non riuscire oppure non amate le salite questa escursione fa per voi. Si parte da Viareggio e lungomare si raggiunge Torre del Lago Puccini, la pineta farà da padrona e la strada sarà quasi interamente sterrata e sabbiosa. All’interno della pineta si godrà dell’ombra e dei profumi delle piante e degli alberi, ci avvicineremo silenziosi a laghetti nascosti per scorgere Aironi, Cinghiali o Daini che spesso troviamo ad abbeverarsi.

Ma l’escursione continua e per arrivare al Parco Naturale di S.Rossore troveremo ancora campi e fiumi da attraversare, ma con le nostre Mountain Bike elettriche non ci troveremo mai in difficoltà. Arrivati al Parco Naturale potremmo riposare e ristorarsi all’interno delle strutture messe a disposizione, esiste inoltre la possibilità di visitare il Parco seguendo apposite ippovie e su carrozze tipiche trainate da cavalli. Ulteriori possibilità di scoprire il parco vengono offerte dall'attività di didattica ambientale svolta da più di un decennio con la collaborazione di cooperative di servizi.

Easy MTB tour from Viareggio to San Rossore Natural Park

If you are still undecided and are afraid of not being able to make it or do not like climbs, this excursion is for you.

We start from Viareggio and along the seafront we reach Torre del Lago Puccini. The pine forest will be the protagonist and the road will be almost entirely dirt and sand. Inside the pine forest we will enjoy the shade and the scents of the plants and trees. We will silently approach hidden lakes to spot herons, wild boars or fallow deer that we often find drinking.

But the excursion continues and to reach the San Rossore Natural Park we will still find fields and rivers to cross, but with our electric mountain bikes we will never find ourselves in difficulty. Once at the Natural Park we can rest and refresh ourselves in the facilities provided. There is also the possibility to visit the Park following special horse trails and on typical horse-drawn carriages. Further opportunities to discover the park are offered by the environmental education activities carried out for over a decade in collaboration with service cooperatives.
